Kate is a talented young soprano based in London

Kate was born on the Isle of Man and surrounded by Celtic music and the mythical stories of the island. She cannot remember a time she wasn't singing. By the time she was ten she was already involved in events such as 'The Young Singer of Man' where she was regularly the youngest performer.

Kate won a coveted music scholarship to Downe House School where she started her vocal training.  Following this she won a music scholarship to Oundle School where she began training with renowned Opera singer Rita Cullis. It was then that she was introduced to the world of Opera, watching Wagner's The Flying Dutchman at the ROH which starred her teacher and Willard White. From then on she was hooked.

Kate read music at the University of Leeds where she regularly performed solo recitals, Oratorio and sacred works with the university Chamber Choir, the Chamber Orchestra, the Leeds Symphony Orchestra and performed many lead roles with The Leeds Youth Opera. Kate also completed the Opera course at the Leeds College of Music.

Kate continued her professional Opera training in Australia with the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She sung solo roles with various ensembles, including North Sydney Opera, Cantillation, and The Renaissance Players, in venues around Australia including the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. She was also the soprano soloist for St Mary's cathedral for the two years she spent in Sydney.

Kate returned to London in 2006 and immediately joined the chorus of three Holland Park Opera productions in the summer of 2008.

She has toured as far as China, France, Japan and Italy as well as extensively in the UK.

She has sung the National Anthems at Twickenham, Upton Park and the Ajax Stadium in Amsterdam and has appeared on National television and radio

Kate is in demand as an Oratorio and Operatic soloist and gives regular private recitals. She still often includes the Celtic music she grew up with.  She is currently involved in an exciting recording project and a TV documentary and is also the new face of the Opus Arte website.

She has performed at personal request of celebrities including Goldie and Madonna.

Kate is a perfect addition as a soloist for elegant, high-end private or corporate events and is also one half of Opera Duo, The Muses and is one of the stunning female opera quartet, Passionata
